Rae is a mother to six kids in a blended family, two of whom are clients of the regional center participating in the Self Determination Program (SDP). With her background in advocating for the essential services her children needed, along with experience in ABA and teaching ND art and photography classes, Rae decided to use her knowledge to assist other parents in accessing the personalized support her kids have received through SDP. In 2023, Rae became an independent facilitator and learned the intricacies of the Self Determination Program. By 2025, she established SDPIF to continue helping families secure the assistance her children now benefit from thanks to the Self Determination Program.
